Fresh Pak Launches Eco‐Sheet TM Plastic Slip Sheets

Thursday May 1 10:00 a.m.

HOUSTON ‐‐ (Business WIre) ‐‐ Fresh Pak Corporation has announced the introduction of Eco‐ Sheet Plastic Slip Sheets, and economically and environmentally superior alternative to wood pallets. Compared to pallets, Eco‐Sheet slip sheets cost less, weigh less, take up less valuable space, are made from 90% + recycled materials and are 100% recyclable.

According to Rudy Macdonel, Director of Sales & Marketing for Fresh Pak, “Eco‐Sheet is made from recycled polyethylene, primarily detergent bottles and grocery sacks. Annually, we are keeping over 50 million pounds of these plastic materials out of landfills. What’s more, Eco‐ Sheet slip sheets are both reusable and 100% recyclable. When their useful lives are over, we want them back so we can make new ones out of them.”

Mr. Macdonel wen on to add that, “Besides reducing the use of virgin materials, Eco‐Sheet slip sheets save money as well. They cost about 90% less than wood pallets. And, Because they’re much smaller and lighter than pallets, loads can be better cube optimized, reducing fuel consumption and other transportation costs by as much as 25%. Reduced fuel usage also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, so it’s also better for the environment.”

John Bazbaz, President of Fresh Pak, commented that, “As companies focus on becoming more sustainable, they are looking at their logistics capabilities as a way to reduce environmental and economic costs. We see this as a strategic opportunity for Fresh Pak. Eco‐Sheet is the first of many new products that we are creating to help design a more sustainable supply chain.”

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Fresh‐Pak Corporation is a leading manufacturer of polyethylene and polypropylene extruded sheet products for the food, beverage, agricultural, electronics, building materials, chemical industries. The company has offices in the United States, Mexico and Asia. Eco‐Sheet is a trademark of Fresh‐Pak Corporation. All rights reserved.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
